We’ve now harvested almost 30 pounds of assorted veg since early June. Last week was a large amount of basil:

It took a while to clean all of that basil from the stems. Here’s what the plants looked like right afterward.

And this week. The current state of the basil plants:
I pruned back the Brandywine tomato plant as well. The idea is that the plant take the energy and put it into the tomatoes, rather than new growth:
Brandywines:
The Marketmore 76 cucumbers:

The lemon cucumbers. I think they’re ready when they turn deep yellow:
The patty pans don’t seem to be happy. They’re dropping semi-mature fruit and the leaves continue to get more yellow. There are still some fruits growing to full size though. I don’t know what’s up:
The regular zucchini are doing great. They’re completely ignoring the cage. Fine. No cage next year.
Tequila (sweet) peppers:

Lipstick (sweet) peppers:

Marigolds love the Earthboxes. Bugs hate Marigolds. Everybody wins, except the bugs:
And again:
And again:
Glacier tomato:

Directly the left of that is the Stupice:

The Siletz:

The Sun Golds:
I’m holding the camera over my head, pointing it up towards the 2nd story. Those are the Sun Gold vines. Look closely and you’ll see the other cat:
