I often used to go to lunchinabox.net. It’s a website featuring tips and ideas using bento boxes. It got me excited enough about the process to buy a bento box for myself.
She’s now back from a four year “break”, with a few new posts since May. The archives are worth a look if you’re at all interested.

Late edit — This Top Tips Link is a great place to start.
I’ll have to check that out. I recently purchased a stackable bento box (zojirushi SL-NCE09) and have found that I eat better when I bring a bento box for lunch. My problem is I’m not that creative when it comes to leftovers or small, bento-sized dishes. Looks like this site has some good ideas.
Thanks!

Lunchinabox has tons of ideas for quickly filling the box and for “repurposing” leftovers.
You should have told me you were looking at bento boxes. I purchased a couple of extra of that same model because Amazon was having a “Buy 3 Get One Free” thing. I figured that (worst case) they’d function well as gifts. I *think* I’ve still got an extra one.
And yeah, one of the big inspirations was the idea that I’d eat better that way. It’s built in portion-control.
Genius, really.
